The Butterfly

            

A crimson cast falls softly onto the hard floor

The noise of his outer shell but whispers in its passing

In halls of embered light

Motion and distance are silent to him 

Warmth is not the pulsing from the heart 

It is the wave of his being that surges in its place

Delicate sight traces forms about him

Communing language with its touches

Finding he is one and all In the waving of the words

I can sense him 

for he is I in me

Poetic licence destroying barriers of conformity 

The penned power of bridge building perspective 

Transpersonal discovery amongst external conditioning 

Yawning in alertness time lifts a curtain 

Saturate the sight revealed with undulating originality 

A canvas born from the union of two lovers; trust and visions

Your carriage wheels mark virgin lands for all to follow

To sights redefining all laws

And as you graze on pastures of new vocabularic stems 

The ingested word sprouts anew within 

And spreads among worlds within worlds

The opening of the inner sight

The falling drop into the pool of self

Ripples shape the continents within

The atmosphere of your living world extends from limb to limb

As you brush the shadows away from knowings foundations

The population of light flickers off the spreading of loves wings inside 

Stretching reach into golden steps outside 

You know the company of divinity charges your touch upon the planet

And walking becomes glided thought over perspectives universes apart

Dropping to knee in reverie 

Finding breath from the world of tests 

You give thanks as though reaching to support the life of your newborn child...

And connection runs from you like serpents of light 

Into the rivers of humanity
